Special Interests
In every autistic person, they have special interests, which may lead to them becoming unique.

Dolls:
I enjoy playing with dolls because it helps to expand my imagination. Creating new clothes so that they can help inspire me for some of the characters I write about. By dressing them in different clothes, it breathes in a different life to each doll.
Making:
I enjoy making things for my dolls because it helps to unleash my creativity. Creating clothes for my dolls helps me to imagine them as different characters. I also create things so that they can help to give me inspiration for certain objects in my story.
My Special Interests – History:
I enjoy learning about history because history can help us learn about the present day. My special interests in history are the Tudor period. I enjoy looking at the clothes they used to wear and looking at historical battles and the wives of Henry VIII. While history requires guesswork to find out how people lived, it requires knowledge, too.

Writing:
Writing allows me to be creative in a way that I can’t be while I am playing with my dolls or I am making something for them. I feel excited when I begin to write because it is putting my imagination to good use as well as focusing on the job I want to do as an adult. Since I was ten, I knew that I wanted to write because it set me free in a way that nothing else could, and I enjoy it. My fanfiction stories based on my special interests can be found on Wattpad , Archive of Our Own and fanfiction.net.

Dystopian Literature
Dystopian Literature allows me to explore what society would be like when groups of people are oppressed. It follows either one person or groups of people as they fight against oppression.

The Sarah Jane Adventures
The Sarah Jane Adventures is a TV series I enjoy. It follows the adventures of Sarah Jane, Maria, Luke, Clyde, Rani and Sky as they save Earth from different alien threats. The show ran on CBBC from 2007 to 2011 due to the tragic death of Elisabeth Sladen, who played the character of Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who from 1973. You’ll find that most of my fanfictions are based on The Sarah Jane Adventures since it’s my favourite TV show.

Special Interests- Doctor Who
Like The Sarah Jane Adventures, Doctor Who is one of my favourite TV shows. Starting in 1963 and initially played by William Hartnell, Doctor Who spans over 50 years of TV history and fourteen doctors if you include the War Doctor. Now represented by Jodie Whittaker, Doctor Who has reached out to new audiences and has re-sparked my love for the show after Peter Capaldi’s run.
